Our teaching philosophy
We believe learning tango is like learning a new language.
First, you start playing with a few, easy sentences, those that help you get through a short holiday, maybe. Start having fun, making memories.
Then you have to properly study its grammar and vocabulary and try them in many different contexts in order to be able to communicate your very own thoughts.
Once you have a solid base, even if you are not fluent yet, you can start appreciating and getting inspired by literature, poems, great speakers, integrating their elegant and idiomatic structures in your own speech.
With this approach in mind, we have structured our courses:
- the Beginners course will let you fall in love with Tango tasting its magic.
- the Fundamentals course will build your body language skills from zero to infinite in a continuous process of refinement
- the Advanced course, done in parallel to the Fundamentals, will point you to the Tango world's best landscapes and undiscovered horizons: the reasons why you should keep walking.
Moreover, everyone needs time to make their own mistakes and refine their skills. So, our lessons always come with a post-lesson practica (9-10 pm).

Learning Tango with us
Here is our advice to take the best from our courses, depending on your dancing experience:
Beginner
Are you an absolute tango beginner?
The Beginners course is your course! Come and get a taste of tango, your first lesson is free!
And remember: tango is a social dance, attending the post-lesson pacticas and the milongas (social dancing), or simply getting into the tango community, are an important part of our offer for your tango development.
Improver
Did you already complete our Beginners course?
Did you already try Tango in the past, but you can't yet see yourself as an advanced dancer?
First of all, you have to build some confidence in the dance itself. Tango is a very special experience and we know getting over the first struggles is a very individual process. So, take your time and repeat the Beginners course as many times you like.
Once you feel ready to start a more in-depth tango study, you should begin attending the Fundamentals course. You can add it to your training schedule (i.e., together with the Beginners course) or just switch to it, as it best fits your approach.
If you want to challenge yourself, you could even find a partner to attend the Poetry course, but if you do that don't be too hard with yourself: even when you are not able to execute the entire lesson, you still learnt something useful. Focusing on the next step in your own learning path is always the best way to improve.

Advanced
Do you already own most of the tango techniques?
You should attend a mix of the Fundamentals course and the Poetry course: the first one will allow you to achieve the execution and communication precision required by the complex sequences, while the second one will move you away from your dancing "habits", boosting your creativity.
You should attend as many social events - like our post-lesson practicas and milongas - as you can. Practicing a new language with many different speakers is a key activity to build the ability to express yourself fluently and completely. Don't be the picky dancer: tango was born to be able to embrace and appreciate dancing every time with someone new!
And remember: you have free access to the Beginners course! Share your passion and help your favourite tango dancers' of tomorrow to grow, develop and fall in love with tango, like you did!
